Fall Benefit Evenings at Walker Homestead

This fall, we’re opening our doors on Sunday evenings for a special series of events that celebrate community, connection, and causes we care deeply about. Join us for sunsets, live music, great food, and the chance to make a difference!

September 14 • 5–8 pm: Sunset on the Farm: Supporting Investigate Midwest

Experience the freshness of the gardens on the farm featuring gourmet pizza, salad, and seasonal flavors. Enjoy live music, a silent auction, and a cash bar—all in support of Investigate Midwest and their vital work in independent journalism.

October 12 • 4–7 pm: Uncorking Hope: Supporting Mental Health (NAMI Benefit)

Celebrate the fall wine release and the debut of Hope, a special-label wine created exclusively to raise funds for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). An uplifting evening of nature, music, food, and community awaits.

Highlights:

  • 🌸 One-Mile Inspiration Walk ($25) – Wine in hand, pause at “inspiration stations” along the vineyard and gardens

October 19 • 4–7 pm: Treats on the Wine Trail: Benefit for CommUnity Crisis Services

Celebrate autumn at this family-friendly fundraiser featuring the “Great Pup-kin Walk” treat trail, live music from Kevin B.F. Burt, a pet costume parade, pumpkin throwing to feed the animals, and a silent auction—all supporting CommUnity Crisis Services.

An evening of creativity and generosity featuring a six-course dinner where our chefs reimagine pantry staples elevated with fresh farm ingredients. From beans and pasta to canned tomatoes and peanut butter—you’ll be amazed at what’s possible.

Highlights:

  • 🛍️ Silent Auction of unique experiences (chef’s dinner, vineyard picnic, bottling day pass)

We spend much of our time sharing the farm with private events. As our calendar permits, we also host ticketed events that are open to the public like Garden Tours, Music on the Farm, Farm to Table Dinners and more.
