Open hours to the public on Thursday evenings 5-9p. The menu changes often (sometimes weekly!), depending on what the farm has to offer. The menu at the moment, is always active at the ‘CURRENT MENU’ button. Reservations during open hours are not required but recommended and can be made by emailing info@walker-homestead.com, calling 319.351.4791 or electronically via the ‘RESERVATIONS’ button. Farm-to-Table Dinner with Kalona SuperNatural Celebrating Their 20th year
In celebration of 20 years of Kalona SuperNatural, we are hosting a special Farm-to-Table Celebration on August 15, 2025 . This is a non-alcoholic event. Guests will be greeted with a mocktail in a keepsake glass and encouraged to explore the gardens. This multi-course meal will feature organic products from Kalona SuperNatural and local farmers. Come learn how Kalona SuperNatural began, the farmers we support, and enjoy an exquisite meal. Doors open at 5:30. Ticket price is $65 charged at the time of the reservation, refundable up to 7 days prior to the event. Reservations may be taken online or over the phone: (319) 351-4791. The week of the dinner, we will send out a reminder and details of the menu. There is a required 22% service fee when booking, which is a gratuity charge that gets distributed amongst all staff.
Farmer’s Table Season Series 2025
Each month we have a dinner highlighting the freshness of the gardens at that point and time. Dinner is accompanied by live music. Menu will be posted at least two weeks in advance. Seating is limited. This is a non-alcoholic event. One welcome cocktail or mocktail is included with the price of the dinner. Come walk the gardens with a drink in hand before sitting down to dine. Wine by the bottle and glass, craft beer by the glass, and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase during the dinner. $15 corkage fee for beverages brought in. We spend much of our time sharing the farm with private events. As our calendar permits, we also host ticketed events that are open to the public like Garden Tours, Music on the Farm, Farm to Table Dinners and more.
