OPEN HOURS
Open hours to the public on Thursday evenings start back up on March 27, 2025. The menu changes often (sometimes weekly!), depending on what the farm has to offer. The menu at the moment, is always active at the ‘CURRENT MENU’ button. Reservations during open hours are not required but recommended and can be made by emailing info@walker-homestead.com, calling 319.351.4791 or electronically via the ‘RESERVATIONS’ button. Chef’s Winter Table Series
Each month this winter highlighted a local farmer. March with Michael Mahoney and gourmet mushrooms from Rot’s Bounty Gourmet Fungi. Live music by Miss Ana Koch. Menu will be posted at least two weeks in advance. Seating is limited. One welcome cocktail or mocktail is included with the price of the dinner. Wine by the bottle and glass, craft beer by the glass, and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase during the dinner. $15 corkage fee for beverages brought in. Ticket price is $85. Please make us aware of any allergies or dietary restrictions. Reservations may be taken online or over the phone: (319) 351-4791. The week of the dinner, we will send out a reminder and details of the menu.

Each month we have a dinner highlighting the freshness of the gardens at that point and time. Dinner is accompanied by live music. Menu will be posted at least two weeks in advance. Seating is limited. One welcome cocktail or mocktail is included with the price of the dinner. Come walk the gardens with a drink in hand before sitting down to dine. Wine by the bottle and glass, craft beer by the glass, and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase during the dinner. $15 corkage fee for beverages brought in. A one-mile Sip and Seek Walk Fundraiser with human and animal Easter treats along the trail, wine samples at the halfway point, ending in the vineyard with a celebration mimosa and music from Mission Bluegrass Band.
Celebrating the University of Iowa Center for Human Rights 25th Anniversary! Guests are invited to come enjoy the farm, food, drink and live music the HomeBrewed Band in celebration.
Guest will also have an opportunity to play Baby Goat Bingo as a fund raiser to support student project for the UI Center of Human Rights.
We spendMUCH of OUR time sharing the farm with private events. As our calendar permits, we also host ticketed events that are open to the public like Garden Tours, Music on the Farm, Farm to Table Dinners and more.
