We have hosted spring and fall fundraisers for the CommUnity Crisis Services. From an Easter one-mile Sip & Seek Walk to a Halloween Treats on the Wine Trail. These are family-friendly, scenic stroll on a groomed trail across the farm, featuring treats for humans and animals, a wine sample stop at the halfway point, and a festive finish in the vineyard with a celebration mimosa and live music. It’s a joyful, purposeful event that brings people together to support neighbors facing emotional, financial, or food insecurity — all while celebrating spring on the farm, raising over $10,000 in 2025. Watch for more to come in this calendar year!

Fundraising dinner at the Walker Homestead for the Iowa Harm Reduction Coalition: an organization that uses a drug user health framework to provide comprehensive health and social services to people who use or inject drugs, prioritizing the unique health concerns of people who use drugs, including overdose prevention, prevention of disease transmission, treatment for substance use dependency and homelessness.

In 2024, Revitalize U, in collaboration with Walker Homestead and One Iowa to host a celebratory gender-inclusive fashion show to the Corridor, with all proceeds benefiting One Iowa.
